What I Know
The truth is a very funny thing.
The thing about it is that sometimes we don’t like it. Sometimes it paints us in a light that we don’t particularly like. Sometimes it makes us angry that we’re not being told what we thought was the truth and then we whine and complain that people aren’t telling us what we want to hear.
Rain
It seems like when it rains; it pours.
I’ve noticed almost all of the most important players in my world had their asses kicked by life over the last month. Life’s done a couple of rounds on me this last week as well. It’s almost like we’re in this together, when we’re happy, we’re all happy but when crap busts loose, it busts loose for everybody.
Farewell, Friend
This morning started out as any other.
Headed to the doctor’s office, enjoyed a RockStar, worried about missing class, whined about being sick, standard fare.
Then I learned that a former co-worker & friend had suddenly passed away. I was floored & heartbroken for her family & her team.
